- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and minimise holding costs.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory data.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and manage stock discrepancies.
- Analyse inventory trends and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems – QAD/MFG PRO or Netsuite highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, BRC).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Competitive rates.
