Maintenance Technician Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at our facility, you will be responsible for providing maintenance services and coordinating external trades to ensure that maintenance and contractor requirements are met.

The key purpose of this role is to perform a range of maintenance tasks, including repairs and servicing equipment, scheduling appointments for work orders, investigating maintenance issues, and assisting subcontractors/trades as required.

  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Coordinating with external trades to complete work orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Investigating and resolving maintenance-related issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Providing support to the facilities team by assisting with maintenance-related tasks and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade background or qualification in a related field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or engineering).
  • Extensive experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong administration and data entry skills, including proficiency in MEX software.
  • A current and valid driver's license.
