Job Title: Break-Fix Computer Technician

We are seeking a skilled Break-Fix Computer Technician to perform on-site and workshop repairs for laptops and printers.

This role is ideal for an individual with minimal experience looking to build a career in IT.

The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing laptop and printer hardware issues, working closely with our Lead Technician to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues efficiently and professionally.

  • Diagnose and repair laptop and printer hardware issues.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Technician to identify and solve technical problems effectively and professionally.
  • Provide support for basic software troubleshooting and help coordinate technician schedules during peak periods.
  • Assist the customer service team to ensure smooth operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An A+ certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge/experience in repairing laptop/tablet and desktop break fix.
  • Knowledge/experience in printer repair.
  • A good understanding of MS software and configuration/installation, including general knowledge of IT trouble shooting.
  • The ability to test and certify PC's, tablets, and laptops.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to complete tasks within a timeframe.
