About the Role

This newly created advanced clinical care services role reports to the Senior Medical Officer and leads key aspects of primary healthcare within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary health care that is respectful and responsive to individual needs
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments, making accurate diagnoses, and informing sound clinical decision-making
  • Prescribing medications under the guidelines of the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorized SASAs
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations to inform treatment decisions
  • Managing recall processes, reminders, and follow-up care activities to optimize patient outcomes
  • Collaborating effectively across departments and multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and contributing to clinical audits to enhance service delivery
  • Participating in governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people

RequirementsTo be considered, you must hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner and demonstrate experience in primary healthcare settings.
