Lead and Inspire a Cluster of OSHC Teams

The role of Area Manager is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) teams in schools. Reporting directly to the National Programs Manager, this dynamic people management position involves overseeing all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing OSHC teams in schools
  • Overseeing all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams
  • Conducting Educator appraisals
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers
  • Preparing and supporting educators for Assessment and Rating reviews
  • Monthly reporting

Key Requirements:

  • Past experience in people management, preferably in the Child Care or Education sector
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, drive to succeed, and a desire to support working families
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A current VIC Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain
  • A current driver's license and own car (travel allowance provided)
  • A completed Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent
