Job Opportunity: OSH Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled coordinator to oversee the daily operations of an Out-of-School Hours Care program.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, including supervision, child safety, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

This is a permanent part-time role, working Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm daily.

  • Duties:
  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that promote children's learning and development, including both indoor and outdoor activities
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as rostering, budget management, record keeping, and performing the role of Nominated Supervisor

Requirements:

  • A minimum requirement of an ACECQA-approved Diploma of Children's Services or Early Childhood qualification
  • Prior experience as a Coordinator of an OSHC provision
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Do Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Years Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check (or be willing to obtain one)
