Strategic HR Partner Role

The role of Strategic HR Partner is crucial to the People and Culture department, delivering high-level guidance, advice, and support to senior leaders and line managers through multi-faceted human resource services.

This position involves close collaboration with senior program leaders and departmental supervisors, including Executive Management, to achieve best practice employee relations and human resources business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert and accurate guidance on HR matters, encompassing workforce planning, employee development, and performance management
  • Work closely with leadership teams to deliver optimal employee relations and human resources business results
  • Offer innovative solutions where appropriate, working within industrial legislation and liaising with subject matter experts in Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Occupational Health & Safety

Candidates for this role will require an applicable tertiary level qualification in business or human resources, previous experience in providing HR advice in a large and complex environment, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Applicable tertiary level qualification in business or human resources
  • Previous experience in providing HR advice in a large and complex environment
  • Strong and proven stakeholder management skills
  • Proven understanding of industrial legislation and employment law principles
