Aviation Project Leader

Drive the future of aviation at Melbourne Airport as a seasoned leader. We're seeking a proactive leader to oversee end-to-end development and delivery of capital projects, ensuring strong design management and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project teams in delivering capital projects within accountable programs
  • Ensure teams are well-engaged across the wider business
  • Comply with reporting and governance requirements
  • Support stakeholders – internal and external

The role involves driving project teams with focus on key areas of Capital Plan Development, Design Management, Procurement, Cost Control and Management, and Delivery Management.

Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in a related discipline (Construction, Engineering, or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience in leading built environment capital projects in a complex operational environment
  • Aviation and Airfield projects management and leadership essential
  • Strong financial management and commercial acumen
  • Experience in construction procurement methodologies and interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally
