Emergency Department Operations Specialist

Job Summary
The Emergency Department Administration Officer will perform administrative tasks in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care.
- Excellent customer service skills are required to meet the needs of all patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Timely and efficient administrative support is necessary for the clinical and nursing staff of the Emergency Department, including accurate registration, admission, and financial election of all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Competencies- Able to retain and apply knowledge of patient revenue and fee management, including private health insurance.
- Holds conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
This role requires a 24/7 rotating roster and the ability to work under pressure.

- Provide high-quality patient care by ensuring efficient and effective administrative processes.
- Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
