Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and diagnosing patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Providing education and training to junior staff and students
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in medicine or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a specialist in emergency medicine
  • Proven experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a leadership or senior role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure
