Healthcare Professional Job Opportunity
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Clinician to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals affected by alcohol and drug use. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
As a key member of the Prevention and Response to Violence, Abuse & Neglect (PARVAN) team, you will play a vital role in building collaborative clinical relationships and capacity-building initiatives to improve the response to violence, abuse, and neglect within our service.
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with PARVAN services for the NSW Health's Adult Survivors Program - a specialist integrated program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain therapeutic and professional relationships with clients, families, groups, and communities.
In this role, you will be required to assist with building collaborative clinical relationships and capacity-building initiatives to improve the response to violence, abuse, and neglect within our service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams;
- Maintain therapeutic and professional relationships with clients, families, groups, and communities;
- Assist with building collaborative clinical relationships and capacity-building initiatives to improve the response to violence, abuse, and neglect within our service;
- Work closely with PARVAN services for the NSW Health's Adult Survivors Program;
- A relevant degree in a health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work);
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for registration;
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence;
- Working With Children Check (WWCC);
