Consultant Psychiatrist Role

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Inpatient Mental Health Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide acute psychiatric care to patients, delivering safe and evidence-based treatment to support recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs and services
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A medical degree and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)
  • Experience in psychiatric care, preferably in an inpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
