Activity Coordinator Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional to join our team as an Activity Coordinator. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of seniors by providing engaging activities.

About the Position
  • Create and update activity schedules, notices, and calendars
  • Oversee event setup and takedown with precision and efficiency
  • Arrange safe transportation for residents, ensuring their well-being at all times
  • Compile and manage essential documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Establish a network of resources for health and safety practices, promoting a safe environment for all
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A grade 12 education and recognized recreational courses for seniors, demonstrating a strong foundation in senior care
  • Previous experience in coordinating activities for seniors or related combinations of education, training, and experience, showcasing your ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • A valid Class 4 unrestricted driver's license or willingness to obtain one, enabling you to transport residents safely
