Activities Coordinator

About The Role

You'll be responsible for creating and updating activity calendars, notices, and schedules, overseeing event setup and takedown, and arranging transportation for residents.

This includes driving the bus, planning engaging activities, and considering feedback from residents and team members.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for compiling and managing important documentation such as attendance records, progress reports, and activity plans as requested by the Activity Coordinator.

You'll also play a role in establishing a network of resources comprising individuals, volunteers, and organizations while promoting health and safety practices within the team.

Requirements
  1. Completion of Grade 12 education and recognized recreational courses for seniors.
  2. Previous experience in coordinating activities for seniors or related combinations of education, training, and experience.
  3. A valid driver's license or a willingness to obtain one.

You are proactive in attending recommended relevant conferences, workshops, and events, ensuring you stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in senior care.
