Senior Liability Underwriter Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Liability Underwriter to join our team in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the insurance landscape.

About the Job
  • You will be responsible for applying underwriting strategy to target markets and accounts in your area of responsibility.
  • Our ideal candidate will have experience in general liability underwriting, insurance risk management, liability broking or related roles.

This role requires strong attention to detail and accuracy in evaluating general insurance risks and determining coverage terms. You will work closely with account management and business development teams to support account management and procurement.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid experience in general liability underwriting, insurance risk management, liability broking or related roles.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance agents, brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex underwriting scenarios and negotiate terms with stakeholders.
  • A customer-centric approach to understanding client needs and providing responsive service.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Pricing, Portfolio Management and intermediary account management.
  • An insurance qualification e.g. ANZIIF Cert IV or in the process of working towards.
