About the Role

HR Partners, a Randstad company, is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Strategic People and Capability Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in delivering operational support to our clients, providing advice and services to assist with the daily management of teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders: Work closely with our clients' business leaders to identify and implement People and Capability initiatives that align with their operational goals.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance and support on People and Capability policies, procedures, employment laws, recruitment strategies, and risk management.
  • Develop and Implement Talent Strategies: Collaborate with our clients to develop and implement talent strategies that promote innovative work practices and maximize opportunities.
  • Manage Employee Relations: Assist our clients in addressing and resolving employee relations issues, ensuring thorough and appropriate investigations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Legal Requirements: Stay informed about legal requirements related to daily employee management and collaborate with our Employee Relations/Industrial Relations team as needed.
  • Implement Employee Engagement Initiatives: Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives tailored to our clients' needs.
  • Advise on Performance Management: Advise our clients on performance management issues, working closely with local management, ER/IR Manager, and P&C Manager to resolve them.
  • Contribute to Strategic Objectives: Actively contribute to the development and support of our broader P&C function's strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Generalist P&C Advisor Role: 5 years of experience in a generalist P&C Advisor role, preferably in a services-based environment.
  • Strong Knowledge of Employment Law: Sound knowledge and application of employment law.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent judgement, initiative, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure whilst holding composure.
  • Exceptional Relationship Building Skills: Exceptional relationship building skills with a solid foundation in HR with an emphasis on ER/IR.
