Business Operations Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Business Operations Strategist to lead our Business and People Operations team, working closely with the executive team and Board of Directors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and executing our BizOps strategic roadmap, optimizing processes and systems across our organization.

  1. Business Operations:
    - Lead the Business Operations and People Operations team
    - Analyze existing business processes and tools to identify areas for improvement
    - Collaborate with the People team to set up people processes and operations for future growth
    - Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency across various business functions
    - Drive new sustainability initiatives within our organization
    - Manage facilities and drive a vibrant office culture aligned to our values
  2. Cross-functional collaboration & communication:
    - Optimize reporting cadences & structures across the company during our next stage of growth
    - Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across the organization
    - Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams and act as a liaison between departments
  3. Executive & Board Support:
    - Drive the cadence of the executive team, ensuring they are focused on the right priorities and agenda
    - Optimize and maintain the operating cadence of the executive team, providing support and ensuring the team runs effectively
    - Assist in the preparation of business plans, budgets, and forecasts
    - Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives
    - Support the preparation of board material, board cadences and communication
  4. Requirements:
    - 4+ years of experience in business operations and leadership operations
    - Experience leading a small team
    - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
    - Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data; extremely proficient in Office tools
    - Excellent interpersonal skills and EQ; ability to work with a large range of stakeholders across the business
    - Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in business operations and operational efficiency
