About the Role

We are recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the technical aspects of project management.

As an experienced project delivery professional, you will be responsible for multiple projects from tender to delivery.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary.

Projects may be based in metro Melbourne or regional Victoria, with a 10:4 or 11:3 roster and a 25% salary uplift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on project sites, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring work is carried out safely.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage the engineering and design phases of projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
  • Manage the construction phase of projects, including monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring work meets plans and specifications.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and control processes to ensure work meets required standards.
  • Track project expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success, including issues related to safety, regulatory compliance, and project timelines.

About You

  • Technical qualification relating to the industry.
  • Project Management and/or Construction Management experience, delivering design and construction works.
  • Experience managing all facets of project delivery across multiple projects from initiation to completion.
