About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems, tunnel lighting, communication networks, fibre optics, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and other key electrical infrastructure for the North East Link Central Package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and integration of HV and LV systems, tunnel lighting, communication networks, and fibre optics within the tunnels and associated buildings.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, site staff, and contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining budgetary and quality standards.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications. Promote a strong safety culture across the team.
  • Cost Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting for the electrical systems. Identify opportunities to optimise costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Scheduling & Monitoring: Maintain project schedules for the electrical works, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet overall project milestones.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems meet design and performance expectations.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager/Lead in large-scale infrastructure or tunnelling projects.

About the Opportunity
