About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead our pet team at a leading retailer. The successful candidate will be passionate about pets, have excellent leadership skills, and be enthusiastic about working with both people and animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage a team of staff members, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle any customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and their pets.
  • Stay up-to-date with pet industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or pet-related environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possession of a basic understanding of animal nutrition and care.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
