Renal Healthcare Specialist Position Available

About the Role:
The position supports Clinicians to provide culturally safe and appropriate health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with kidney disease and those requiring dialysis, who access the North West Hospital and Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working across in the NWHHS Renal Service under the guidance and support of a Clinical Nurse and Registered Nurse and other members of the Renal multidisciplinary team.
- Primarily based in Doomadgee, however, travel to various facilities or units within the Northwest Hospital and Health Service will be required.
Requirements:
- An Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person is essential for this role.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- A working with children check may be required.
- Vaccination evidence for Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis may be required.
Benefits:
- Base salary ranges between $75,090 and $103,261 p.a. (HWF3).
- An isolation bonus of AUD$3,500 for 1 year of service.
- AUD$10,500 for 2 years of service.
- AUD$7,000 annually for every year after that.
- Two return airfares per annum to the nearest east coast provincial city.
- Employer superannuation contribution of 12.75%.
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual.
Note:
This is a VPD risk role and a period of probation may apply.
