**Job Opportunity in Rural Australia**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Medicine specialist to join our healthcare team in a remote hospital in North Western Queensland.
The region offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing medical care to the rural community.
The hospital has 200 beds and is the main referral hospital in North West Central Queensland.
The area's climate supports an outdoor lifestyle with an average of over 300 days of sunshine each year.
Housing options include town, small acreage rural land or large properties for farming and grazing.
Child-care centres are available and dedicated to the safety and stimulation of children.
Schools in the area are well equipped and provide a high level of education, with a good reputation for achieving academic success.
The region is expanding, with many people taking advantage of affordable real estate and a relaxed lifestyle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Fulfill clinical on-call requirements in Anaesthetics practice
- Undertake on-call in Anaesthetics in line with their approved scope of clinical practice
**Essential Qualifications**
We require FACEM or equivalent qualifications. New FACEM Fellows are encouraged to apply.
