Leader in Maternity Services Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time role, working 64 hours per fortnight. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with proven leadership skills to join the team as a key clinical leader.

About the Role
  • Lead a diverse department incorporating maternity services, paediatric elective surgery, and general surgery with a strong focus on women's health and wellbeing.
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and safe service delivery outcomes.
  • Drive efficiency and foster a positive team culture that promotes collaboration and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Clinical Leadership: Promote excellence in patient-centred care and oversee clinical risk management strategies.
  • Administrative Management: Oversee financial, human, and equipment resources within the unit to ensure optimal performance.
  • Strategic & Team Development: Lead with integrity and promote a collaborative work culture that values diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife (essential).
  • Tertiary qualification in Midwifery and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience across all midwifery domains and previous leadership and management experience.
