This is a job-share position, offering 4 days per week. As the Nurse/Midwifery Unit Manager, you will lead a diverse department incorporating maternity services, paediatric elective surgery and general surgery with a strong focus on women's health.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Promote excellence in patient-centred care, oversee clinical risk management and participate in accreditation processes.
- Administrative Management: Oversee financial, human, and equipment resources within the unit and maintain workforce profiles.
- Strategic & Team Development: Lead with integrity, promote a collaborative work culture and contribute to service planning to maintain care standards.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Midwifery
- Demonstrated experience across all midwifery domains
- Previous leadership and management experience
- Strong interpersonal, team leadership and change management skills
- Permanent residency or Australian citizenship
