Maternity Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate maternity care specialist to join our team. As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centred care across the full maternity journey.

About the Role

You'll work across antenatal, postnatal, birth suite, special care nursery, and women's health (including gynaecological and breast surgery). This is a collaborative clinical environment where you'll be providing safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Full-time, part-time, and casual arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide antenatal and postnatal care to mothers and newborns
  • Deliver hands-on support in labour and birth
  • Care for babies requiring additional monitoring in the special care unit
  • Support patients across the broader women's and children's ward
  • Promote continuity of care and accurate clinical documentation
  • Practice in accordance with current clinical policies, procedures, and professional standards

About You:

  • Current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (mandatory)
  • Experience across the full maternity spectrum including antenatal, postnatal, labour, and special care
  • Bachelor of Midwifery (or equivalent)
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and values-driven professional
