Maternity Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated maternity care specialist to join our team at Calvary Riverina Hospital. The successful candidate will have experience in providing safe, effective, and appropriate care in a patient-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant government health policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include giving direct antenatal care to mothers, providing postnatal care to mothers and newborns, and offering specialised care to babies who require additional support and monitoring following their birth.
- Provide high-quality care to patients in a supportive team environment.
- Practice evidence-based care and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in maternal healthcare.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Your Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess current registration with AHPRA as both a Nurse and a Midwife, demonstrated experience in antenatal, postnatal, and special care, and a Bachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalent.
You will also need to demonstrate your ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and maintain continuity of care for each patient.
