About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Normet, a leading provider of innovative solutions for the mining industry. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting on-site work nationwide, performing electrical and technical service and maintenance tasks and repairs on Normet and client underground machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and technical service and maintenance tasks and repairs on-site underground, nationwide
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and at a level of quality acceptable to both Normet and customer expectation
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Electrical or Mechanical or both with a minimum of 3 years industry experience
  • Previous underground experience is essential
  • High Voltage License will be highly regarded
  • Experience in modification and repairs of heavy mobile equipment
  • Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, experience, and aptitude
  • Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics
  • High level of problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with can-bus systems is highly desirable
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • You will have the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance
What We Offer

  • Starting hourly rate of $70 per hour (flat) plus super
