Job Description:
Nurse Specialist Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions throughout the patient journey.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized patient care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote effective communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to perioperative care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in a leadership or specialist role.
- Demonstrated expertise in perioperative care, including knowledge of best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
