Perioperative Nursing Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team in a hospital setting near Newcastle. This role offers an attractive remuneration package with highest paid nurses in the region, work-life balance with flexible rostering, and a range of benefits including private health fund discounts and on-site massages.
About the RoleThis Anaesthetic Nurse position requires a Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with AHPRA and postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or Anaesthetics (desired but not essential). The successful candidate will have proven experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse, sound knowledge of anesthesia principles, medications, and equipment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements- A Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Proven experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse in a hospital or surgical setting
- Solid understanding of perioperative nursing principles and practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
