As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing payroll activities across the organization. This includes end-to-end processing of approximately 700 staff on a fortnightly cycle, calculating and reporting workers compensation liabilities, reconciling Long Service Leave accruals and payments in line with Enterprise Agreements and state legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full suite of payroll activities
- Calculate and report workers compensation liabilities
- Reconcile Long Service Leave accruals and payments
- Administer salary increases and back payments
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and professionally
You will also maintain professional communications with internal stakeholders, including supervisors, managers, and employees, and manage the payroll aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently.
Requirements:- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll in a large, complex environment
- Proficiency with major ERP systems, such as Micropay, SAP, ADP, and Time & Attendance platforms
- A proactive and can-do attitude, driven to make a tangible impact
- Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
- Resilience and eagerness to tackle challenges with initiative and determination
- $50.00 per hour + Super
- Hybrid work model (2–3 days WFH)
