Job Title: Senior Service Officer Payroll

Clerk Grade: 5/6, Salary Range: $99,938 - $110,271 plus superannuation and leave loading.

Employment Type: Temporary up to 6 months. In-office requirement 2-3 days a week as a minimum, which could be subject to change based on applicable workplace policies.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of payroll officers, ensuring quality service to customers to support efficient payroll processing.

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day workload of their team, providing support and advice on complex requests, and have experience in payroll processing in SAP, working in a shared services transactional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of payroll officers to ensure quality service to customers to support efficient payroll processing.
  • Manage the day-to-day workload of your team to ensure completion of tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide support and advice on complex requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in payroll processing in SAP, working in a shared services transactional environment.
  • Experience leading a payroll team, with a demonstrated ability to manage high work volumes during peak times.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and on the phone.
  • Understanding of NSW Government payroll awards and legislation.
