Civil Design Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team in Urban Development. The successful candidate will have expertise in 12D and Civil 3D software, with the ability to deliver high-quality designs within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing quality delivery of designs using 12D and Civil 3D.
  • Successfully managing, planning, resourcing and completing assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in determining drafting & other design resources required for project plans.
  • Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards.
  • Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering degree and/or certifications.
  • At least 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience in the application of 12D and Civil 3D software.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and 12d Synergy.
  • Design knowledge in road design, earthworks (steep site experience valued) / grading design and utilities design (water, sewer, drainage).
  • Excellent client-focus and sound technical know-how.
  • Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working on Urban Development projects within Southeast Qld. or Northern NSW.
