Urban Design Graduate Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Urban Design graduate to join our team. As an Urban Design graduate, you will contribute to the delivery of excellent built form design outcomes for our city.

This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and mentorship in urban design within a local government setting. You will work with an experienced team to develop your foundational skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career in urban design.

  • Contribute to architectural and urban design research and advice to promote good architecture and urban design outcomes for city projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and review design, landscape and place policies for the management, protection and promotion of good architecture, urban design, landscape architecture and local character areas within the city.
  • Collaborate with other teams and groups to ensure liveability is considered in all works concerning the city's architecture and urban design.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a recognised bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification from a tertiary institution completed within the last two years or be completing prior to the commencement of the program. Applicants must also have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program and be able to work full-time.
