WorkPac is seeking a skilled High-Tech Mobile Equipment Technician to join our client based at a local open-cut coal mine in the Mudgee area.

This is a 7/7 roster rotating between day and night shifts, with camp accommodation and meals provided. The successful candidate will work on a range of mobile plant equipment, including Excavators, Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, and Loaders.

Our client is located in the western coalfields near Mudgee NSW and produces high-quality thermal coal.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include performing servicing, repair, and maintenance of mobile plant equipment. This will involve working at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements
  • A relevant trade qualification is required for this position.
  • A current driver's license with reliable transportation is essential.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of safety procedures, particularly Safety at Heights and confined spaces, would be an advantage.
  • The ability to pass a Coal Board Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test is also required.
