Heavy Equipment Operator

At Programmed, a leading provider of managed workforce and training services, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for quarry work in the Currabubula area.
Our client is a major producer of construction aggregates such as crushed rock, sand, or gravel, extracted from stone and rock.
We offer a competitive salary package including:
- A daily rate of $45-$60 AUD, depending on experience
About your new role:
You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment like WA480 or CAT972 Loaders and CAT 740 dump trucks to load road trucks accurately using loadrite or similar scales. You will also undertake mobile crushing and screening duties and perform general yard tasks as required.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A current driver's license
- FEL competency and the ability to use scales
- Proven experience operating loaders and/or haul truck
- Experience in mobile crushing and screening is desirable
- Commitment to risk management and OH&S
- A positive work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to undergo and pass drug and alcohol screen
- Provide recent work referees
