Cummins is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Equipment Service Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled technician with advanced knowledge of heavy diesel products to provide top-notch service to our customers in the automotive, mining, and power generation industries.

Key Responsibilities

As a Heavy Diesel Equipment Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional service to customers by completing repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel equipment.
  • Inspecting and replacing components as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning to extend the lifespan of our customers' equipment.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic.
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to junior technicians.
  • Advanced knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
