Heavy Diesel Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at Cummins.
This is a key position in our workshop, responsible for ensuring that all heavy diesel equipment is properly maintained and repaired. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical trades and experience working with heavy diesel products.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy diesel engines and equipment using specialized tools and techniques.
- Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and support to junior technicians to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Maintenance and Inspection: Perform regular maintenance and inspections on heavy diesel equipment to ensure it is running safely and efficiently.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete accurate and timely documentation of all work performed, including service records and warranty claims.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Mechanical Trades Qualification: A trade certificate or equivalent in mechanical trades, such as heavy diesel mechanics or automotive mechanics.
- Experience with Heavy Diesel Products: Significant experience working with heavy diesel engines and equipment, preferably with Cummins products.
- Diagnostic and IT Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with experience using electronic service tools and software.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach and develop junior technicians.
