Role Overview

Support workers provide assistance to individuals in need, promoting their recovery and well-being.

Location: Eagle Heights, Gold Coast Recovery Services Centre

About the Role

The support worker role involves building positive relationships with participants, encouraging self-determination and active involvement in their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing risks associated with participant activities and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Assisting with day-to-day tasks, including light cleaning, room preparation for new arrivals, and transportation to appointments.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with TSA policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant Certificate-level qualification and/or have prior experience or on-the-job training in a similar role. A Diploma-level qualification will also be considered.

You must also possess a current First Aid Certificate and a valid Driver's Licence.
