After completing a paid three-week induction, you'll have access to available shifts at Emerald Place Clinic in Charlwood, with the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.

There is no minimum number of hours to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to retain induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available and can be viewed and booked through an app. Within a few taps you'll have the shifts at Emerald Place Clinic secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you'll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Location and service

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to 18. Young people admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs, including mood disorders, acute psychosis, and co-existing needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism. A young person may also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
