Category Expansion Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead category expansion initiatives.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth, engaging with suppliers, managing stakeholder relationships, and optimizing logistics and warehousing operations.
This role requires strong analytical and commercial skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and develop new products to drive business growth
- Source and engage key suppliers to support category expansion
- Manage and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure efficient logistics and warehousing options are chosen for each product
- Maximize profitability through deep understanding of the market and category
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the category
- Negotiate optimal trading terms and prices with suppliers
- Develop and implement promotional strategies across sales channels
- Manage inventory levels to achieve company goals and KPIs
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree in a relevant field, such as commerce or business
- Experience as a Category Manager in an eCommerce, Retail or FCMG environment
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
