Category Development Manager

We are seeking a commercially-minded professional to join our Home & Appliances team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in category ownership and management, who is ready to take on greater responsibility.
You will be given the opportunity to manage a portfolio, partner with suppliers, launch new products, and make a real impact on what our customers see and shop for every day.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify commercial opportunities for category expansion including sourcing and developing new products
- Engage and source key suppliers locally and internationally for Exclusive Brands
- Manage daily category operations including planning and promotional activity, inventory management, shipping and logistics to ensure revenue targets are exceeded
- Maximise profitability of all products through a depth of understanding of your category and the market
- Be proactive, innovative, and continually develop your category for customers
- University Degree qualified in Commerce, Business, Economics or similar field
- Experience within eCommerce, Retail or FMCG environment and/or Home & Living categories highly regarded
- Strong analytical skills and commercial nous, being able to recognise opportunity and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and engagement skills for building and maintaining effective relationships
