Job Description

**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of sales invoices, customer master-data updates, and reconciliation of customers' open items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales invoices and book incoming receipts
  • Prepare aging lists on a monthly basis
  • Update customer master-data as needed
  • Issue credit/debit notes upon approval
  • Prepare Statements of Accounts and communicate with customers
  • Follow up on new customer creation, liaising with insurance for coverage
  • Respond to customer and internal department queries
  • Manage quarterly factoring activity and related customer balances
  • Perform daily cash clearing and bank reconciliations
  • Assist with payment processing of customer rebates
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and internal/external audits
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in end-to-end Accounts Receivable function with an accounting background
  • Diploma in Accountancy or relevant qualification
  • Prior experience in a similar role (2+ years)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Exposure to SAP system
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer:

  • $37-$45 per hour + Super
  • Permanent role with a salary of $70,000-$85,000 + Super (based on experience)
  • 3 months temporary to permanent full-time position
  • Pyrmont location with close proximity to public transport
  • Working hours: 9:30am-6pm
  • Great team culture and friendly environment
  • 6 days work from home per month
