We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to lead and managing the overall coordination, supply and installation of hire equipment to customers on project sites and facilities to meet customer and project requirements. Project sites include, but not limited to, shutdowns, events, installations, and customer specific projects. A key focus of the role is providing exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs, sourcing and organising equipment for customers and ensuring adherence to safety standards at all times.

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

- Demonstrate Safety Leadership by leading and contributing to Coates Hire’s Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture
- Manage the overall supply of equipment to customers as required for their projects; raise the hire schedule and conduct all pre-hire inspections before equipment is supplied
- Manage and organise the logistics for equipment; liaise with other branches to source required equipment; liaise with contractors for transportation of equipment; load and unload equipment (where required)
- Effectively handle and respond to general enquiries from customers; provide accurate information around hire prices, availably, technical support and advice regarding hire equipment.
- Provide advice to customers around appropriate equipment required for jobs.
- Accurately process any related project related paperwork.
- Manage project team ensuring effective prioritisation and management of workload; ensure service internals, safety checks, quality of work and adherence to standards.
- Develop and foster strong working relationship with customers and builders; ensure effective customer service.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- 2+ years’ experience in the hire industry dealing with large equipment
- Customer service and sales experience
- Experience managing field service staff
- Fork lift licence; EWP licence (desirable)
- Plant operator (desirable)
- Certified to test and tag electrical equipment
