Solar Project Manager

About the Role:

  • As a seasoned project manager, you will oversee large-scale solar PV and BESS construction projects near the Queensland-NSW border.

You will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining high safety standards. Your leadership will drive project success by prioritizing deadlines, quality, and safety.

This individual will play a hands-on role in daily site operations, problem-solving, and driving a culture of teamwork and safety across all site personnel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage on-site construction activities to meet project schedules, budgets, and scope.
  • Monitor and report on project timelines to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with site crews to optimize daily operations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Lead daily PSI/Toolbox meetings with site supervisors to foster a safety-first culture.
  • Report safety hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and maintain HSE reports.
  • Provide leadership to a medium-sized on-site crew, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
