The Cognizant team is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Implementation Consultant to lead functional area implementations and provide expert guidance in the financials subspeciality.

About the Role

This senior-level position requires a deep understanding of Workday Financials and a proven track record of delivering successful implementations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior resources and drive project teams to achieve high client satisfaction levels.

Responsibilities
  • Provide functional leadership on multiple concurrent Workday financials implementations
  • Serve as a sounding board and provide ad-hoc advice for engagement managers and leads
  • Oversee all financial areas on assigned implementations, ensuring efficient and accurate design and configuration of the delivered solution
  • Mentor junior project resources by providing guidance and allowing them to learn new skills and functional areas
  • Utilize Cynergy methodology to deliver Workday implementations
  • Support the business development lifecycle by serving as a product SME and assisting the lead sales manager to qualify business development opportunities
  • Estimate effort and resources required to complete projects as related to areas of expertise
Requirements
  • Current Workday Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Certified in at least two Workday Financials subspecialities in addition to their area
  • Completed 3 full lifecycle Workday Implementations
  • Led at least 2 Workday implementations
