Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum two-year post-graduate experience and current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. They will also possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.

The role involves undertaking direct patient care, including education, wound management, and drug administration as per Practice Protocol. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing nursing patient load, facilitating effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physics, and radiation therapy staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • A minimum two-year post-graduate experience.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.
