Job Title: Clinical Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultative services in radiation oncology, including multidisciplinary clinical assessments and radiotherapy simulation and planning across several cancer sub-specialty sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultative services in radiation oncology, including multidisciplinary clinical assessments and radiotherapy simulation and planning.
  • Participate in research and education programs, including registrar and undergraduate teaching.
Requirements:
  • Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency.
  • Sound clinical knowledge in radiation oncology demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
  • Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner, including high level interpersonal and communication skills.
Selection Criteria:
  • Possess registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent.
  • Evidence of additional qualifications, skills and/or experience required for specific scope of practice for the specialty.
  • Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical/Dental Practitioner, including proven ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health services colleagues.
