We are currently seeking a skilled handyman to fulfill key responsibilities including inspecting furniture at customer homes and assembling furniture as required. In this role, you will evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for wood furniture, leather, fabric, and upholstery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting furniture at customer homes
  • Assembling furniture as required
  • Evaluating damages and selecting appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration
  • Reporting on all outcomes of service calls
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving to offer the best solution for the customer

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential
  • Knowledge of wood repairs including scratches, dents, and splits is necessary
  • Ability to perform upholstery repairs including structural/internal mechanism replacements
  • Strong self-motivation with attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory
