Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing furniture at customer locations.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Attending scheduled service calls to inspect furniture and identify areas requiring repair.
  • Assembling furniture as required.
  • Evaluating damages and selecting the most appropriate methods of repair and restoration for wood, leather, fabric, and upholstery.
  • Reporting on all outcomes of service calls.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving to offer the best solution for the customer.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role (preferable).
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools (a carpenter or handyman would be ideal).
  • Knowledge of wood repairs including scratches, dents, and splits.
  • The ability to perform upholstery repairs including structural/internal mechanism replacements.
  • Strong self-motivation and independence.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • A current Driver's License.
