Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing furniture to the highest standard.

Day-to-day tasks may include inspecting and qualifying product issues, picking customer orders, quality checking stock, assembling furniture, performing small carpentry projects, locating replacement parts if necessary, maintaining records of all repairs, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing cleaning solutions for varying materials.

Your Skills, Experience, and Attitude

You might already have experience gained in warehousing or carpentry/furniture-making, but we also welcome those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. We provide training and mentoring to support your career growth.

It would be beneficial if you had:

  • Experience in physically-active roles and ability to assist with heavy lifting
  • Ability to think on your feet and take a proactive approach to your work
  • Hands-on experience assembling/repairing a range of furniture
  • Upholstery or framework experience (not essential)
  • Experience in furniture repair (not essential)
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Capable of making decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and grow to develop a long-term career
